Job Description
So what’s the gig?
We’re after a Screw Pile Delivery Driver/Screw Pile Installer to work alongside our experienced screw pile team. You’ll be learning from the best while doing real work—helping set up sites, delievery stock from site to site, load trucks, handle materials, assist in machine operation, and generally keep things moving smoothly. If you’ve got grit, a strong back, and the drive to level up, this could be the start of something big.
What you’ll be doing:
- Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload screw piles, brackets, caps, and materials using forklifts or cranes (as trained and licensed). Secure all loads in compliance with transport regulations.
- Safe Transport: Deliver screw piles and associated products to job sites efficiently and safely, ensuring materials arrive undamaged and on time.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and delivery schedules. Communicate delays or access issues to the SPI Operations Manager immediately.
- Documentation: Complete delivery paperwork, including run sheets, delivery dockets, and timesheets accurately. Obtain site supervisor signatures where required.
- Customer Interaction: Represent the company professionally on job sites. Communicate clearly with site supervisors, installers, and clients during deliveries.
- Vehicle Compliance: Conduct pre-start checks and daily inspections on trucks and trailers, documenting any faults or required maintenance.
- Maintenance: Keep delivery vehicles clean, serviced, and in safe working order. Notify the maintenance team of any mechanical issues immediately.
- Manual Handling: Assist with basic yard or factory tasks when not on the road. This includes moving or sorting piles, offcuts, and materials.
- Safety Practices: Always wear required PPE (high-vis, steel caps, gloves, etc.) during loading/unloading and while onsite.
- Traffic Compliance: Ensure full compliance with road safety laws, load restraint guidelines, and fatigue management regulations.
- Yard Duties: Assist in daily checks of inventory and materials readiness for dispatch. Return packaging, dunnage, or offcuts to the yard for reuse or disposal.
- Signage & Equipment: Deliver and collect SPI site signage and equipment as needed

- You’ve got a strong work ethic and show up ready to go
- A White Card or construction experience is a bonus—but not essential
- Computer skills? Nice to have. Willingness to learn? Even better.
