At Ideal Foundations, we are committed to community support and making a positive impact beyond the construction industry. Recently, our team participated in a working bee at Winston Heights Public School, helping prepare the grounds for the new school year. This effort highlights our dedication to giving back through hands-on community support.
With just 24 hours before students arrived, the pressure was on to complete 10 projects around the school. It felt like a home improvement show, racing against the clock before the big reveal. By the end of the day, 9 out of 10 tasks were completed, leaving the school looking refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
One of our expert screw pile installers, Enda O’Neill, took the lead in landscaping and site clearing. Using his experience and heavy machinery, he removed old gardens, dead trees, and stumps, creating a fresh canvas for new greenery. The transformation around the senior COLA area was remarkable, impressing Principal Margaret Creagh, who praised the efforts of all involved.

Following the Ideal Foundations excavator, a dedicated team from Transurban stepped in to remove debris, level soil, and assist with additional school projects. Their combined effort contributed to a successful community initiative that benefited students and staff.
While screw piers and foundation work were not required for this project, we were eager to help. By leveraging our expertise and equipment, we saved the school days of labor-intensive work. Our goal was to create a cleaner, more inviting outdoor space for students to enjoy.
We are excited to see these new gardens grow and wish Winston Heights Public School a successful school year!
At Ideal Foundations, we take pride in giving back. Our community support initiatives aim to make a difference by offering resources, manpower, and expertise where they are needed most. Whether it’s improving school environments, assisting local projects, or helping communities grow, we are always ready to step in.
