Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Screw Pile Operations Manager to lead and coordinate our screw pier installation projects. This is a key role that requires strong organizational, leadership, and technical skills to ensure that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will work closely with the operations manager, clients, and team members to meet project timelines and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling & Coordination:
    • Schedule and confirm screw pier installations with clients, staff, and contractors.
    • Manage equipment, materials, and machinery needs, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and develop the Screw Pile Installation (SPI) team, including conducting performance reviews and organizing training programs.
    • Ensure vehicles and equipment are well-maintained and meet company standards.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to foster professional growth and a high-performance culture.
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Oversee WHS protocols on all job sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Maintain documentation, including certifications and compliance reports, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Client Relations:
    • Build and maintain relationships with construction managers and supervisors.
    • Provide technical support to clients and staff, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
    • Attend and contribute to morning operations meetings, reporting on KPIs and project efficiencies.
    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management within the construction or geotechnical field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations (WHS, ISO, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
