Role Overview:

As a Site Investigator – Soil Field Technician, you will play a critical role in conducting site investigations and preparing soil reports, which are essential for the success of various construction and engineering projects. This position involves working with cutting-edge tools and technologies, including working alongside heavy machinery, drill machines, nuclear gauges, compaction machines, Laboratory testing and 4-wheel driving to gather soil data across various sites in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and soil sample collection at various job sites around NSW.
• Operate drill machines and other field equipment.
• Collaborate with our in-house lab to analyse soil samples.
• Assist in screw pier installations and manufacturing processes as needed.
• Continuously seek improvements within your role and contribute to departmental advancements.

Selection Criteria:

• Valid Manual Car Driver’s License.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
• Mechanically minded with hands-on experience.
• Strong English communication skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated achievement in any field or role.
• White Card required; soil experience and WHS knowledge are beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to start immediately and join our expanding, friendly team.
