If you require efficient site classifications, soil testing, or geotechnical assessments, Ideal Geotech is ready to assist. Our team delivers rapid, high-quality geotechnical services to support subdivision developments, residential projects, and commercial construction.
At Ideal Foundations, we specialise in steel screw piels for modular buildings, ensuring strong and reliable foundation support for transportable structures. We are currently halfway through installing 1,200 above-ground screw piers for a large-scale modular admin building project in Wellington, NSW.
This project plays a key role in the construction of new administrative buildings supporting the development of a new correctional facility. The screw piles are designed to accommodate reactive soil conditions, ensuring long-term stability. On average, each pier is installed to a depth of 3.75 metres, effectively managing soil movement risks.
The installation process, spanning from December 2016 to February 2017, demonstrates the efficiency and reliability of screw piling for modular construction.
Modular and transportable buildings require strong, stable, and efficient foundation solutions that can support various soil conditions while allowing for quick and flexible installation. Steel screw piles are the preferred choice for these structures due to their durability, adaptability, and ease of installation.
We are grateful for the opportunity to support Modular Building Systems (MBS) in delivering a stable and secure foundation for their transportable structures. A project of this scale makes our steel screw piers protruding from the ground resemble an army of steel soldiers—at least, that’s how we see it!
Additionally, working with Hansen & Yuncken on a well-planned construction site has been a pleasure, ensuring smooth execution of the project.
If you’re looking for cost-effective, durable, and fast foundation solutions, our steel screw piers for modular buildings provide the perfect support for transportable structures, modular homes, and commercial projects.
New plant just arrived from the US!
Growing more into the light commercial foundations we wanted to have the same systemised approach as our residential pier. Our engineers have begun an R&D project on a new connection system for our higher capacity screw piers. Part of the new system led us to the good old USA to get the machinery needed. The new swagging system will allow for quicker and easier installation of screw piers similar to our residential piers.
The Ideal Foundations team has just arrived at Wellington NSW. They are about to start installing 1200 screw piers for Modular Building Systems (MBS).
